The Performers

Teresa Lynne & The Sonicbirds

Born in Shreveport Louisiana to a traveling man singer, songwriter, Teresa Lynne can blow your mind playing Harmonica or break your heart with her whiskey throated vocals. Teresa has been influenced by some great blues legends such as Sonny Boy Williamson, Muddy Waters and James Cotton. Teresa was thrilled when James Cotton came to one of her shows and got up and jammed with her. Later he was quoted as saying "I had to see her play harp for myself!" She was also invited up to jam by Delbert McClinton at his concert in Shreveport Louisiana.

Bruce Iglauer of Alligator records wrote "Teresa Lynne is quite a good harp player by any standards with voice full of good pitches and attitude and a good variety of phrasing."

In her early years she did studio (ghost) work for Charlie McCoy, Pete Drake, Bob Moore. She opened for Alice Cooper at his concert in Orlando Florida at the age of 17.

The Monterey Bay Blues Festival wrote: "Denver based singer songwriter "Teresa Lynne has been called the "last Red Hot Mama" for her Etta James-style roadhouse blues, not to mention her gender-defeying mastery of the harmonica. A Louisiana native, 20 years ago Lynne settled in Denver where she became a local favorite." James Meadows Rocky Mountain News "weather its train riffs, piercing high notes or flat out Boogie Woogie Lynne can flat out blow harp!"

Matt Spinks

Matt Spinks

Matt's music career began as a classical pianist, mentored by Stanley Clark, Dean of the School of Music, Columbus State University. Recipient of "Most Talented" award from Rome Music School in Rome, GA. and other performance awards. This training heavily influenced his precise playing and gutsy vocal style.

Matt has played from coast to coast and mesmerized audiences with his Finger-pickin blues style. It must be heard and experienced to be believed.

Matt has performed with some of music's greats. In the south he shared the stage with Joey Allcorn, Neal Lucas, Haywire, and the Heath Jackson Band. While in Austin, he hooked up with Eric Johnson. Locally he has shared the stage with John McEuen of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Michael Hornbuckle, Jaimie Cordero, Road House Joe, and James and the Devil.

Matt is the featured guitarist on Ashley Buchart's debut album. He and wrote and performed "Real Man". Ashley stated she wanted the best for her debut album. During this time he was also creating the Matt Spinks Band from some of the best musicians in the Denver area.

Matt has become somewhat of a local legend in the Rocky Mountain area.

What others have to say;

Blues Harp Amps:
Matt's playing and vocals electrified the packed club. I've been around the block a time or two in blues bands, and I seen 'em come and I seen 'em go. I've heard a lot of guitar players play and a lot of singers sing, Matt is one of, if not the best around.

WestWorld:
Matt's straightforward, honest, and superbly played blues, peppered with hook-y riffs and choruses will rivet your attention. He makes the music look effortless and fun to play, while keeping his audience on their feet with songs that get stuck in your head. When you experience Blues by the Matt Spinks Band, it's "Blues with Attitude".
